UIRehab understands that although adjusting to life with an impairment can be a difficult transition, it does not have to be an obstacle to success.  Our Pre-Vocational Services are aimed at providing our Clients with the support to improve their self-confidence, independence, and outlook, while remaining unceasingly focused on what is possible. 

At UIRehab, our team of therapists work alongside our Clients to identify their interests, abilities, and strengths. They develop general skills that contribute to employ-ability and volunteer opportunities in a supportive community setting. 

Our therapists understand limitations and assist Clients with developing their own ways of managing daily activities. This increases transferable work skills and builds confidence. Our Clients learn to set realistic goals. This enhances their ability to either attain employment, or to participate in meaningful volunteer opportunities and individual interests.
